Maguindanao massacre (UPDATED)

The Ampatuans are very close to Gloria Arroyo. They helped her win in 2004. They helped Zubiri win in 2007.

This incident should be a wake-up call for all of us that Mindanao is also a part of the Philippines. This massacre in Maguindanao is a clear sign of the failure of our government to put law, justice and order in a land rich with culture, resources and people!
LET US NOT BLAME OUR MUSLIM BROTHERS! JUDGEMENT IS NOT OURS. THIS IS AN ACT DONE BY FEW. JUSTICE WILL BE SERVED! LET US UNITE FOR JUSTICE!

Such inhumanity. Madam president, we are very doubtful that you will actually have the will to do anything. Also President Gloria, if you do not plan to do anything at all (which 90% think so) at least have the decency to scold your friends and tell them that if they are going to engage in a stupid political war please leave the innocent bystanders alone.

the signs of the times indeed are provoking the thought of peace-loving citizens of our country.
no word can best describe the horrific killings perpetrated by the powerful politicians in Maguindanao.
this is a clear omen of what is stored for us in the coming elections.

Yung mga magagaling kasi at mahuhusay at honest na Pinoy, e, nagsilayasan na sa Pinas… marahil di nila kayang makipagsagupaan dito laban sa mga tiwaling namumuno… ayun, iniwanan ang Pilipinas sa mga corrupt at makasariling lider… tapos magrereklamo na ganito ang nanyayari sa bansa?
